Q: Do I have to book?
A: Bookings are essential. Please phone or email us or use the Book Now button.

Q: Where does the cruise take you?
A: We cruise the river downstream from Noosaville to Noosa Heads. We also cruise through Woods Bay and out towards the river entrance before entering Weyba Creek and the Noosa Sound Canals. We are unique in that we are the only tour company that offers a cruise that includes the canals.

Q: Where can I board the boat?
A: There are two scheduled collection points: ‘The Jetty’ (186 Gympie Tce, Noosaville) and Sofitel Hotel Jetty (Noosa Heads). Pick-up also available from private jetties by arrangement.

Q: How long are the cruises?
A: This is dependent on where you join our cruise. The Daytime Cruise can range from 1.5 to 2.5 hours duration, while the Sunset Cruise can range from 1 to 2 hours. Please enquire when booking. Private Cruises are treated on an individual basis and are available for between 1 and 5 hours. 

Q: Does the boat cater for wheel chairs and prams?
A: Yes. We love to host all members of our community and can accommodate groups or individuals with special needs and requirements. Please inform us at the time of booking. For large electric wheelchairs, please call us to discuss.

Q: Are there toilets on board?
A: Yes, there is a small toilet on board but this is not suitable for wheelchair users.

Q: Is there shelter from the weather?
A: We have both an open top deck and a large area undercover both providing unobstructed views.

Q: How many people can you take on board?
A: We can carry small groups up to 40 people.
A: For Private Cruises, our comfortable maximum is 30 / 35 depending on your occasion. Please call to discuss.

Q: Can I bring my dog on board?
A: Generally, furry friends cannot be accommodated however please advise at time of booking if special circumstances apply.

Q: How much does a Private Charter cost?

Q: What is the cancellation policy for Private Charters?
A: For all Private Charter cancellations following confirmation of your booking, your deposit will be retained.
Private Charters cancelled within 10 days prior to the day of your cruise will incur a Cancellation Fee being 50% of the Charter cost.
Private Charters cancelled within 72 hours prior to the day of your cruise will incur a Cancellation Fee being 100% of the Charter cost.

Any pre-ordered catering must be cancelled 4 days prior to the day of your cruise to receive a refund for this service.

In the unlikely event that we, Noosa River and Canal Cruises, must cancel a Private Charter at the last minute, an alternative date or full refund will be offered.

Please note: Our cruises are an all-weather experience and we do not cancel due to inclement conditions.

Q: What is the cancellation policy for Public Daytime or Sunset Cruises?
A: If you cancel your Daytime or Sunset Cruise up to 72-hours before the day of your cruise a full refund or credit will be given. For cancellations by you within 72-hours of the day of your cruise, a 100% Cancellation Fee applies. In the event that you are required to isolate due to COVID-19, we will issue a credit for bookings cancelled within 48-hours. We appreciate your understanding during these challenging times.

We will do everything to ensure your cruise runs according to schedule, but in the event that we must alter your booking you will be offered an alternate date or a full refund.
